TNT’s top rated shows The Last Ship and Falling Skies are teaming up with newcomer Legends to take over San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
TNT has taken over San Diego International Airport to promote its new drama, Legends, which stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings). Bean plays FBI undercover agent, Martin Odum, who is able to completely transform into other people depending on the job. When a stranger appears and suggests Odum isn’t the man he thinks he is, Odum’s world is shaken.
For Comic-Con attendees, Legends will air a preview and host a panel in Room 6A on Thursday, July 24, 12:30-1:30 pm, which will include cast members Ali Larter (Heroes), Morris Chestnut (Nurse Jackie), and Tina Majorino (Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood). A cast signing will follow from 2-2:45pm at the Fox 21 Booth. Tweet along using #DontKillSeanBean
The Last Ship
One of the most fun shows of the summer is also coming to Comic-Con. The Last Ship tells of a world ravaged by a deadly virus and the US military ship that holds the possible cure. TNT and CraveOnline will host a party on Friday, July 25th aboard the USS Midway that will feature a performance from rock group MGMT.
There will also be a panel at Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24th from 1:45-2:45pm in 6A, featuring stars Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, Adam Baldwin, and Charles Parnell.
The epic battle of aliens versus humans, Falling Skies, is also invading Comic-Con in a fascinating way. At the Falling Skies booth, between Halls H & G, there will be an alien cocoon, which plays an important role in the upcoming July 27th episode. Comic-Con attendees will have a chance to pose inside the cocoon, which features “fluid-pumping vessels and atmospheric lights and sound designed to make the entire structure look alive.”
There will also be a panel in room 6BCF on Friday, July 25th from 4:30-5:30pm featuring stars Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy, Will Patton, Sarah Carter, Maxim Knight, Scarlett Byrne, and Doug Jones. The panel will include clips from upcoming episodes and the video game Falling Skies: The Game.
