The Last Ship has become one of TNT’s top rated summer shows, and the reason is clear. Undoubtedly drawing from producer Michael Bay’s penchant for action and blowing things up, The Last Ship is a fun, action-packed, and suspenseful drama. OHSOGRAY chatted with the stars on the red carpet at Comic-Con 2014 and got the scoop on where the show will be heading in its second season and what more we will learn about the virus that has decimated the global population.
Eric Dane
Dane is Captain Tom Chandler and helms the ship the U.S.S. Nathan James. His job is to help keep his crew virus free, while also safeguarding scientist Dr. Rachel Scott as she works to find a cure to a global pandemic.
Adam Baldwin
Baldwin is Chandler’s second in command, XO Mike Slattery. In addition to supporting the captain, Slattery is no-nonsense when it comes to taking out terrorists.
Rhona Mitra
Mitra is Dr. Rachel Scott, the only scientist with the tools to create a vaccine to counter the disease that has ravaged the globe.
Travis Wan Winkle
Winkle is Lt. Danny Green, one of the U.S.S. Nathan James’ crewmembers. He provides valuable assistant on the ship’s various land missions and has a budding relationship with Lt. Kara Foster.
