Some of you who grew up in the 1980s might remember the Richard Scarry activity books, which featured animals dressed as people. Netflix has a new original series, Bojack Horseman, that offers an adult-take on a world that resembles Scarry’s. The show features the voices of Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie, Aaron Paul, Paul F. Thompkins, and Patton Oswalt. The premise is described as, “BoJack, the failed legendary 90s sitcom star from the favorite family sitcom ‘Horsin’ Around,’ has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. Now, in the presence of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), Bojack is primed for his comeback.” Here is a sneak peek at what to expect from this irreverent cartoon.
Bojack Horseman will stream all 12 episodes beginning Friday, August 22nd at 12:01am PT, only on Netflix.
