The Last Ship is definitely one of the bright spots in this summer’s cable programming. Besides the entertaining cat-and-mouse game between the Russians and the USS Nathan James, there’s also a compelling mystery surrounding the origin of the virus that has ravaged the globe. At Comic-Con 2014, OHSOGRAY caught up with THE LAST SHIP showrunner/co-creator Hank Steinberg and asked about what future enemies the ship may face and whether we’re going to get more information on the backstory of the virus. As the show has already been renewed for a second season, we also asked Steinberg what we may see next year.
