The BBC drama Happy Valley will be available for streaming on Netflix (US and Canada) beginning on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Happy Valley is a six-part drama that focuses on a police woman in a small town who has a personal crisis when the man she believes is responsible for her daughter’s death is released from prison.
Happy Valley follows other compelling BBC dramas that have found a home on Netflix, such as The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson. Netflix is becoming a strong competitor of premium cable companies and has definitely stepped up its game.
