The Curse of Oak Island features brothers Rick and Marty Lagina hunting for treasure on Oak Island, off the coast of Nova Scotia. In its second season, the brothers follow in the footsteps of John Wayne and FDR, both of whom paid for expeditions to uncover treasure on this island which has been linked to pirates and the Knights Templar. At the end of the first season, the brothers discovered a 17th century Spanish coin that has encouraged their belief that there’s treasure to be found. Will they have even better luck this season?

Search for the Lost Giants features another two brothers, Bill and Jim Viera, who are on a quest to find remnants of a possible lost civilization of giants. It’s unclear how credible early 20th century accounts of “9-12 feet tall humanoids, with double rows of teeth” are, unless we’re talking about something from AHS Freakshow. But, the Viera brothers are going to get to the bottom of the rumors by exploring secret chambers, underground tunnels, and mysterious burial mounds.
