TNT is dominating the summer with action packed programming. With fun fare like The Last Ship, Major Crimes, and Falling Skies, there is even less reason to spend $20 on a movie ticket. The good news is that all three have just been renewed. The bad news is that the fifth season will be the last for sci-fi drama Falling Skies. The Last Ship will have more episodes in its second season – moving to 13 episodes from 10. Major Crimes will get even more with 15 episodes, while Falling Skies will finish its run with 10.
TNT reports that The Last Ship has been doing incredibly well for the network this summer, and current ranks as basic cable’s #1 new scripted series with adults 18-49 and 25-54.
The Last Ship airs Sundays at 9pm ET/PT, followed by Falling Skies at 10pm ET/PT, and Major Crimes airs Mondays at 9pm ET/PT, all on TNT.
