Fans of The Killing know that the end of the third season was simply brutal. It left a huge cliffhanger that looked like it would never be resolved as the show was canceled. Fortunately, Netflix stepped in and is giving us another season.
Season 4 of The Killing will stream exclusively on Netflix beginning August 1st at 12:01am PT. Before then, you can catch up on or relive all three previous seasons on Netflix. Below is a brief summary video of what’s happened so far. If you want to avoid spoilers, don’t read the brief synopsis after the video as it discusses what’s to come on season 4.
“As Detective Linden (Mireille Enos) and Detective Holder (Joel Kinnaman) struggle to manage the fall out from their rash actions at the end of last season, they are assigned a new case — a picture perfect family is murdered, survived only by the son, Kyle, who was shot in the head during the massacre.”
